The live-in Caregiver

Opting for a live-in caregiver to care for your loved one can also be a constant source of comfort. Nothing compares to knowing that a quality, trained and compassionate live-in caregiver is with your loved one at all times. Finding consistent, quality of care from an agency specialized in live-in services you can trust is essential to your peace of mind.

There is nothing more important than continuity of care for your loved one—day in and day out.

A live-in caregiver is always there, providing the same caring style seven days a week, with no disruption to the client’s routine. Advanced Elderly Services is dedicated to ensuring constant and consistent care one on one with your love one. Even when your caregiver needs a day off, we provide a relief caregiver to ensure continuous and seamless care for your loved one.

In addition to affordability, our live-in caregiver offers unsurpassed care and companionship. Your loved one can develop a trusting relationship with his or her caregiver. Likewise, our caregiver will really get to know your loved one, including his or her daily activities and preferences. Everything from a favorite lunch to preferred hobbies and pastimes. Live-in home care offers our caregiver and your loved one a chance to become friends even part of the family

There are many instances where home health care is required, but why choose a live-in caregiver versus hourly care for your loved one? Our live-in caregivers offer you the optimum in home custodial elder care at a surprisingly affordable rate.

Did you know that the daily flat rate for a live-in equates to about nine hours of hourly care! Not only is this a significant financial value, but your loved one benefits from a caregiver being in the home around the clock. Isn’t this worth it?

Our Caregivers are Hero’s In Many Homes in the Community

“My children are busy, and can’t always be around when I need help.  My live-in caregiver has made living at home much easier for me and my family!”

Our seniors deserve the quality of support and care that only a live-in caregiver can provide. Living in the home, the caregiver can provide a level of personal care that no institutional facility can offer. Our Home Caregivers are proud to assist seniors and their families in improving the quality of their lives.

A Live-in caregiver can allow a senior to safely and comfortably remain in the familiarity of their own home by helping in many ways:

  • Assistance with mobility
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Accompaniment to appointments, shopping etc.
  • Help with general household duties
  • Assistance with personal hygiene
  • Companionship

Also, because the caregiver lives in the home, they are often on-site in case problems arise.

Because everyone is different, each senior will have different needs and preferences in a caregiver. These needs should be determined early, to allow the best match of qualifications and personalities.  Bringing a caregiver into the home for the first time can be made comfortable by letting the caregiver know the degree of visibility desired. The caregiver can be as visible or as inconspicuous as the senior desires, while attending to his or her duties. Normally a comfortable relationship with the caregiver arises fairly quickly.

Live-in caregivers occupy a position of great importance and trust within a family. That is why we take such care in screening and selecting our candidates. We want you to feel comfortable with the experience and skills that our caregivers offer. Because of the wide selection of candidates our national network of associates can provide, we know that you will be as impressed with them as we are.

You may be surprised to learn how economical it is to enjoy the benefits of a live-in Caregiver in the home – particularly when compared with institutional options.  After deducting room and board, and considering government remittances, an average gross wage of a live-in caregiver may be as little as $1,700 per month, a bit less in Pennsylvania and slightly higher in New Jersey and New York.

Many seniors know that a live-in caregiver will be wanted eventually.  Often this need arises sooner than expected. Because of the time required to process a caregivers paperwork through our channels, we encourage families to start thinking about arranging for their live-in caregiver sooner rather than later.
